IVAR SAFETY GROUP FOR HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS

The IVAR 507063 Safety Group is used in plumbing systems to prevent the water pressure from reaching excessive and dangerous values inside the storage water heaters: for this reason it is equipped with a safety valve which discharges the overpressures if they exceed the value valve calibration.

The IVAR 507063 Safety Group offers the possibility of obtaining four functions with a single component: it allows manual emptying of the water heater through the manual drain valve; facilitates, through a shut-off valve, maintenance interventions on the heaters without having to empty the rest of the system; prevents, through a check valve, the water from returning to the cold supply network (anti-pollution); it prevents the water pressure from reaching excessive and dangerous values inside the storage water heaters: for this reason it is equipped with a safety valve which discharges overpressures if they exceed the valve's calibration value.

The connection to the water heater is ¾” F, the connection for the cold water inlet is ¾” M, the connection for the drain is 1” M. The body of the safety unit is made of CW617N brass, nickel-plated only externally; the sealed parts are in EPDM, particularly resistant to heat. The maximum temperature of the fluid inside the component is 120°C . The calibration pressure of the safety valve is 7 BAR, discharge flow rate at 8.4 BAR.

The Ivar safety groups are built in compliance with the EN 1487 standard and Circular 26 March 2003 N° 9571 of the Ministry of Productive Activities, they must be mounted in the supply systems of storage water heaters.
